Fox is a wiggler. I prefer movement to a dead log. HOWEVER if you are doing it as a show, to get attention or faking it that would bother me. Fox moves pretty naturally, likes to fight and we do a lot of restriant play as well. I would be completely turned off by the play if I thought he was putting on the movement for m benefit and it wasnt natural.

SnowRanger, the thing is, I'm sure the Mistress you're playing with is proud of you no matter how you chose to interpret pain. I know I always am of the bottoms who chose to play with Me. It's not about playing it up if it isn't your natural reaction. It's about the dance you share. Not what anyone else thinks.

I want the natural reaction ... for most, that is some degree of movement and/or sound. I don't want someone putting it on for Me, neither do I want someone deliberately stifling their responses. I want to see the effect I am having on their body. Makes it lots more fun for Me!

When i am sub, i am a giggler and while i know that might annoy other people in a public play space, it's not something that can be suppressed. It's a definite stage i go through on the way through subspace. Never had any complaints at play parties, most people liked to see it as it was obvious i was having a great time!

As others have said, it's about the couple who are playing, as long as there is no deliberate attempt to disrupt anyone else.

Define 'tough'. Although my Westie and I have never had the opportunity to play in public, I'm still very proud of him. He is quite the tank. He soaks up as much punishment as I can dish out. He does flinch and occasionally gasp under the lash but has only cries out during electrical play. I think he is amazingly tough. An honest reaction to pain is normal and to be expected. To hold fast under obvious pain is impressive... and HAWT.

Thank you all for your comments! Looks like we shall continue enjoying and growing in play as we are. My owner also liked the responses and advises we shall keep our play in the way that seems to come natural to us. It is sure is interesting to go out for some play parties to see how others enjoy the "lifestyle". I'm also going to be making a wooden stock that will limit my mobility a great deal in the "on the knees position". So I'm sure we will be doing some play with me being very still indeed. Oh, what a fine life we lead!

Ok that's better. Now what I was going to say was:

I haven't done anything public, but I would hate dominating my boyfriend if he just laid there and took it without reacting. The reactions are what make femdom enjoyable for me, knowing I have the power to make him squirm flinch and yelp and moan. If he just sat there, I'd get bored and probably think I wasn't doing something right and get all discouraged. It just sucks a bit when he exaggerates to make me think I'm hurting him more than I am... the little wimp.
