I suggest going to tattoo and piercing conventions in your area and also looking through art books and magazines to get ideas. Bookmark or photocopy what you like and collect in a notebook or binder. Ask people in your area for recommendations on tattoo artists and take a look at their work. Usually they have a binder with photos of previous clients' artwork on the counter. And make sure to check on the artist and shop's cleanliness and safety protocols. Where were you thinking of placing the tattoos?
