Speaking of feminised or sissified males.... can anybody please define the terms? As opposed to house husbands...

I have the career-work--you keep the house, cook etc.-role reversal to some--the ideal to Me.

Termyn8or -> RE: house husband (12/24/2008 9:28:19 AM)

A friend of mine is a househusband. Years ago when the kids were little he was an over the road truck driver, and she wound up getting a job that would provide medical and enough money. She actually asked him to stop working, or at least going OTR. He took care of the chores and kids, and the kids turned out fine and he also remodeled the house and put a roof on it. Show me a housewife that can do that (although I am sure they exist).

Having a househusband is like having a superhousewife. He was involved in the decision making, with the cooler head and I think that contributed to the kids' development, and they have flown the coop so now they got two nice houses and one is rented out paying for the other.

So now with the empty nest she is on him to get some part time work just to pay for his own beer and smokes, she has no problem paying the bills. Over the years he has become quite a good cook. He earned his place there just like a housewife does, and then some. What he saved in labor charges remodeling is staggering if you figure it out. If I provided a list, you would agree. To do all they did, without him she would have payments until the year 3000.

And, he is not submissive at all, nor even kinky.

Femenized male, a male kept as a feminine. Female clothing, female mannerisms, masle body.
Sissified males are usually more geared towards the humiliation aspect of the feminization. Frilly over the top outfit, parodies on actual female clothes, things real women dont actually get into most of the time.

GreedyTop is absolutely right (male version of housewife, not necessarily the submissive one), but I like the way you think. [:D]   M

I looooove rarely doing housework!  We both work outside the home but he does almost all of the housework.   I still do most of the cooking simply because I enjoy it and am better at it.

Here's a term I've never understood:  "Over the road trucker."  What other kind of trucker is there?  Are there truckers driving somewhere other than roads?

Termyn8or -> RE: house husband (12/28/2008 8:33:33 PM)

SB, that means he was going far away and was gone for weeks at a time. Non OTR drivers exist, and while they are glad to do a local job, have to deal with more traffic and shit like that, so they get their share of stress. At least they see their family every night. This guy used to haul oversized, hazardous loads and like that. Many times with a state trooper's escort from state line to state line.

A non OTR driver would be one who drives between the railroad and local factories and warehouses. Some drivers covet those jobs, others would rather have less involvement with city traffic.

In this case, neither one of them (the couple) wanted to send the kids off to daycare, and in the end I see the results. I think they made the right choice.

Term, I know what a OTR driver is.  I know the difference between them and local delivery drivers.  I just don't get the term, "over the road driver."  Of course, they drive over the road.  Would they drive under it?  It's just one of those weird phrases that bewilder me.

Fast Reply - My primary boy is very domestic but usually wears the maid outfits for activities less grungy than cleaning.   He is in old jeans and a t-shirt for yard work, cleaning, cooking and laundry.  The frills come out for parties or service situations.   [sm=laundry.gif]

And if your guy is more the rugged male type, nothing says service like a naked man cooking in nothing but a plain apron with his cute ass cheeks showing!  (Ponders a CM calendar of subs/slaves in naughty maid outfits and aprons.)   [sm=mop.gif]

I am a house husband, my wifes job has better insurance and I have a job that allows me to work when I want.

I stay home, raise our child, take care fo the house, all the cooking and cleaning.  I never worked so dam hard in my life.  It has nothing to do with a D/s relationship, it just made more sense for me to stay home because she wanted to continue her career.

I do serve in a D/s relationship outside of our home, and it works out very well.  The house I serve in has no children nd what a relief it is not having to answer the questin "WHY" for a several hours a week, it's like a mini vacation.  When i serve, i am either naked or wearing a maids outfit.

SB, sorry I missed the intended sarcam. I should've known better :-)

At any rate I think we are going to see more of this. All or most of the "Man" jobs are gone. I mean the jobs where you get dirty, but you get to take a four beer lunch. What is left in the way of those jobs pay less and usually lack benefits. When you got kids you need medical coverage these days. Actually when my buddy became a househusband he had been making more than she, but it was the benefits that tipped the scale.

I've said in a post long ago that nature pretty much created Wives. Of a couple, only one could breast feed. Now it is an option, so with all the factors weighed in, sometimes the "reversal" of the "trasditional" roles is the best choice.

no problem Term.  *grins*  Yeah I agree, those jobs are going the way of the dinosaurs.  My brother is a carpenter, and he's a good one.  He can't find steady work to save his life right now.  Shit, I'd be a househubbie.  The other men in the neighborhood can call me a bitch when they come home as I am mowing my lawn with a beer in the cupholder.  [:D]

For those of you without a sense of humor, I greatly respect those that stay home and tend to their families.  I was lucky enough to grow up in that type of household.  My mother stayed home, and guarantee you she wasn't "submissive" to my father.  She would have laughed herself into hysterics if anyone suggested that.  Our home was always immaculate, we had actual sit-down meals in the evening, and we always went to school in clean clothes.  Most importantly, she was there when my brother and I came home.  My friends (most of whom were from divorced households) thought I had the coolest mom in the world.  But we had a lot more rules and a lot less privacy than they did.  I didn't understand that until I got older.  I feel blessed that I grew up in that type of environment.  I commend anyone (man or woman) that takes on the responsibility of managing their family household.

Do you find it hard to hold a conversation with other adults when you have been with the unmentionables for several days in a row?

Hmmm...I make a really good salary, but I'm submissive.  Yet I'd LOVE to have a house-husband, because I'm *so* not domesticated (hate cooking, cleaning, and yardwork...ugh!).  Is there such a thing as a Dominant house-husband, or am I living in La-la Land??  :)

I'm pretty sure I saw one hanging out with a couple of unicorns and a non-pretentious English doctoral candidate.

*sigh*

BondageBarbieX -> RE: house husband (1/3/2009 6:19:36 AM)
