Somehow, I have a problem with the credibility of any purported news source that can't even get the name of the town right.

It's LaGrange, not LaGange.

The grid can not have it both ways.

bust a small guy like this, while the big boys put melomine in our milk and baby food.

once the FDA has declared melomine to be safe, US labs will no longer check for the threshhold.

obey the now world order.....or else.    9 hours to be held at gun point?   come again?  9 hours.    for a supposed food licesne.  are you kidding me?   that is a felon?????

drink up.   plasic tastes good and is nutricious.

Termyn8or -> RE: food co-op busted! (12/6/2008 8:06:23 AM)

Ohio is not the only one. Other states have done this when it comes to raw milk.

This has been going on for years, I am not sure why, but somewhere in the reason is no doubt a dollar sign.

Unfortunately I am going to be a good little sheeple and forget about this quickly for the following reasons :

1. It has been going on for years in the US.
2. There is not a damn thing I can do about it.
3. I am not going to allow it to wreck my Saturday.
4. I have no kids.

I remember drinking raw milk, I also remember drinking skim milk for a few days to get the cream to make icecream. Those days are over. This is not a free country and it is not a fair country. Never was, never will be. I am pleased with number four on the list. In fact my only sibling also has no kids and we are both past the age where it would be wise to have kids. That means that our particular DNA is being removed from the gene pool, and for good reason. This world is not fit for human habitation. I wouldn't want my progeny living in this shithole.

Just like this national ID thing, put me in jail for not having one. When you release me I will turn around and knock on the door and turn myself in. You think I am kidding ? Bust me for milk ? That would be rich. I would love it. I would go over the charges stacked up against me and plead guilty to the ones that are clearly unconstitutional and then say "Fuck you your Honor, because the fucking minute you let me out I am going to do it again".

When we lived on a dairy farm of course we got free milk. Now they can bust the buyer as well as the seller of like drugs or prostitution. So we are double guilty. Put us in jail please, because not a goddam one of us gets anything from the government.  Feed us cloth us. I will never have to write another check.

If you thought I was a rebel, wait until some stupid shit hits the fan for something like this. I can get along with criminals, I do it all the time. Once they get me in, as far as I am concerned they can keep me forever.

You may or may not remember my mention of a buddy who got busted for growing pot. Actually he got busted for SELLING some of said pot. Well the American "just us" system has acquitted him and now he will be able to afford to buy pot because he is going to sue the government. You can do that when you are acquitted.

The people who say "Love it or leave it" make me want to mow them down with the AK47, but my family is doing exactly that, leaving it. We are not stupid people, we could raise a world leader, one who could cure a terrible disaease or something like that, but we refuse to give that to the world, because of the way the world is. The kind of people we are don't fit here.

We have no remorse about this.

What's next, if I grow tomatoes next year I will need to have them inspected by the government before giving them away ? Or is it more that I would have to get them certified nutrient free ?

I am serious about the tomatoes, we are not foolish enough to try to grow them in the same spot every year. In fact the first time we broke the ground we were very pleased. It was really "black as dirt". The tomatoes were fantastic, in fact the only tomatoes I would ever just up and eat, not on a sandwich, in a salad, just eat. No salt or anything. A store boughten tomato tastes like,,,,, ummm can't think of the wor..... NOTHING. It tastes like nothing to me. The next good crop came when we let the land rest, and I mean it. The grass was not even mowed for seven years. Of course keep doing it in the same spot and there will be diminishing returns.

What about the peppers ? Is there a chemical we must let them spray it with before letting someone eat them, possibly a psychoactive chemical ? If I grow all the components of a salad and feed someone said salad, do I have to get licensed as a restaurant for food service ?

Other than this I have heard of three other incidents in the US in which someone who dealt in raw milk was assaulted by the government. A few states allow it, but it must be labelled for pet consumption only.

Let me pose a question, how is it that it is OK for a dairy farm to sell raw milk to a dairy company with a big truck and not to a neighbor or friend ? Again, you will find a $ in the answer.

That, my friend is why I have no remorse in depriving the world of my bloodline.

And that is as quickly as I can forget about it. Back to my normal Saturday activities.

Well, I'm not sure where all this extra information is coming from.

The article you linked was based on the original article Lynnxz provided, which does not mention anything about being held at gunpoint for nine hours by a SWAT team.

The reference to that was in the readers comments section and there was nothing to verify it wasn't just a wild rumor someone was repeating.

what makes you think the original article is complete?   you dont know that.  anyone that has been arrested at home knows how this goes.   they searxh everything grab what they want and haul it away.  I know that much.   the guns and 9 hours sound like a stretch.... but why, who, the goverment needs to butt out.

I sometimes wonder where you'd be if you put all this energy and time you seem to have in abundance into some productive endeavor.

Part 2.

Plant the largest vegatable garden that you can this year. I will.

A danger comes in the mindset that a food item is not a drug, or more to the point, WHOM DECIDES what is a drug and what isnt.

Did you know the amish refuse to get social security numbers?  how insurgent is that?

the law has nothing else to do but to worry about what goes on at some food co-op, in god forsaken ohio.   the last one out of Ohio turn out the lights.   if this was a licsence issue, was it really necessary to raid the place???

why not send a letter?   freaze the bank account?

wouldnt this be a CIVIL matter?

the assholes are clearly terrorists.            taze them.  a certain threat to the national security.

now many 3 letter WERE sent.   we dont know that yet.   wouldnt it be nice to have a competent media, that had that info in the blurb?

even still, a food co-op a criminal enterprise.   heavens....

I find it perplexing that some group of amish were doing some heinous infraction against the community.

10K worth of meat.  THINK!  that is not alot of meat!!!

The Ohio Department of Agriculture has semiautomatic weapons?!?!?

DesFIP -> RE: food co-op busted! (12/6/2008 11:15:20 AM)

I'm still trying to figure out how a food co-op is not a licensed retail food store. They sell food, they are a food store. Sophistry at its finest.

slvemike4u -> RE: food co-op busted! (12/6/2008 11:17:27 AM)

I'm just thanful/hopeful that PA hunkboy doesn't have them(and hopefully never will) Dark Steven

Termyn8or -> RE: food co-op busted! (12/6/2008 12:07:01 PM)

Steve, the FCC even has them. SWAT teams the whole thing. Can't let the media get out of hand here. Especially here.

Hi UN,

Noted, fair enough, and normally I'd agree.

But arguing for an important viewpoint and sharing every conspiracy theory (or at least several of them) that comes down the pike are different stories, especially when those points of view are poorly supported, and especially since it's a new, often unrelated red flag alert every day. And I'm not merely criticizing---seriously, all that energy could be much more useful focused in a positive direction.

Yet, fairly, that's just my view. Still, hard to see how the consistent "the world is coming to an end while you watch" mantra is in any way a helpful direction--even IF somehow true! Perhaps, instead, a blog with links and commentary for those who enjoy reading ill-supported alarmist material. As it stands, CM seems to be that blog.

Live well.

Termyn8or -> RE: food co-op busted! (12/6/2008 2:05:16 PM)

He doesn't alarm me Mus. Many years ago I was like that and I learned why and how we got here to this type of society. It was all in response to real problems and some solutions worked, others didn't.

Sometime I read AFP, now THAT can be scary, because many times what they say comes out later as being true. You assign the weight to each idea percieved. For example, something put forth by the branch davidians or the Iowa unorganized militia or the isle of my own id is frequently discarded.

What most of us see is so slanted, that when we see something slanted the other way we think it is all out of whack.Truth is, sometimes it is, but sometimes it isn't.

For example, you would not believe that someone could be declared a non-taxpayer by the IRS, go out and make over 200K a year and pay nothing and be left alone, and further be busted with twelve potplants in an upstairs grow room after getting caught selling the weed could be off scot free. But I have walking talking proof of it, right here in N. Ridgeville, Ohio.

I prefer to let the ideas flow, if they turn out to be whacked out, move on.

I am open to ideas to make this happen. What would I be good for?
