A few have been following my medical issues over the past month and are aware these issues have spanned close to two decades now.  I keep running into dead ends, finding no answers, and suffering disappointment after disappointment.  Things are getting worse and yet another possible answer has disintegrated.

I am tired, frustrated, and struggle with symptoms daily.  I have a lot to focus on trying to get answers and get better or be able to adjust to my circumstances.  I am taking a break from cm and the boards until I am in a better place in all this.  I appreciate everyone that has been encouraging and helping me with information and even some laughs as I have been going through all this.

I will be checking this thread and my cmail when I am able though I will likely give no feedback.  I appreciate any who wish to leave a note of encouragement.  They will really help at this time.  Again thanks for being a great support during this time.

I will say a prayer for you.

Mind your breathing.   ...breath completely.

I know during some tough eons, per my injuries- that it never seemed like it would get better.  ...things in my case improved more then I thought they would.  Not perfect- but certainly not the pits as before/

Thought I would take a minute to thank everyone again for their encouragement and to update on my "progress" LOL!

I had my second university appointment last week and am waiting for lab results.  It is getting into some complicated and rare hormonal conditions that they are investigating.  Some will require simple to nasty surgeries and others medications lifelong, long term, or even short term.  It seems like the potential culprits are multiplying, but that tends to be the way with difficult diagnoses.  What it does let me know is that I am not nuts and that there is really going to turn out to be an explanation behind all these seemingly unrelated and ever compounding symptoms.  That is more of a comfort than it might seem.  Too many times I had been dismissed and told that my symptoms simply didn't go together and that it had to all be in my head.  Already two diagnoses have been made that point clearly that it all most certainally is not!  It makes it easier to stand firm and keep being proactive and not accepting lame and condescending answers from health professionals.  I pay them.  They work for me.  I get to fire them if they are not taking care of me properly and to the best of their ability.  Folks, don't ever forget that!  It's YOUR health and YOU have the right to receive the best care possible.  Accept nothing less!

Messages both here and on the other side have helped during this difficult time.  I know I am becoming stronger and wiser for having gone through all this.  I am learning the value of some of the smallest things life has to offer.  I am also beginning to really learn to value myself the way others have told me I should.  I take care of myself and ask for help when I need it.  I know my limits and respect them.  I also don't limit myself unduly.  Better times are on their way, but it is when we walk through fire that we are forged into greater vessels to carry on the work and service for which we are here.  My best to all!  Miss you guys and hope to be back full blast soon!

I find it helps to research things online.  Then I know enough to ask the right questions.  Even a stray post from years ago on some message board has been of help..

Birth control pills mess with hormones.   There could be something diet wise that makes it worse., you know they way they pump chemicals into chickens and cows.

I am glad you perked up.  :-)

keep at it loving!  when they finally find all the answers to the problems you can go back to the naysayers who said you were making it up and prove to them how dumb they are and how glad they should be you're not in the mood to sue for malpractice!

i started what is likely to be two months of hyperbaric oxygen therapy today.  about 4 hours of my day shot to hell four days a week.  i know how the search to find something that works to help you feel better can be a long road, but at the end is the reward for a long journey.  best of luck and email me on the other side if you need a shoulder.

Well folks.. my computer's been down, so I haven't been able to update.  I have some abnormal test results back from my last round of labs and am waiting to know what it is all going to mean, but it is a step in the right direction as the results are not even close to normal.  Soon I hope.  Soon

My thanks for all the support!
