Considering that we lived there a year (and gained weight due to the po'boys and other favorites)., this sounds about right.

Dang it, I am yearning for a roast beef po'boy loaded now...[;)]

I believe they are probably one of the poorest, most obese, most uninsured. All of which, tend to go together.

I enjoyed visiting New Orleans(my sub used to live there) but its not the place I would want to live. Way to hot and humid. I wasn't surprised to read this news.

Hmmm, wonder if it's just a coincidence that the bottom states are red states. Which states, coincidentally, get more money from DC than they send.  [8D]

I wouldn't call New Orleans a "red" area.

well if the people in the state whernt always waiteuing for the gov to help them might not be poor

I grew up in the middle of Louisiana... Seeing my dad's side of the family with faces coated in pig fat while they stuffed their already obese bodies full of pork really scarred me for life. I've been knowing it's at least one of the most disgusting states, not really surprised it's now the most unhealthiest.
