You might want to go with a higher end epoxy, or poly. Sink a drain in the middle, if the cats are exposed to a specific area, that'd probably make it a lot easier on you. If you got the nice stuff, you could probably just end up hosing off the mess, without risking damage to the floor, and the pee would be less likely to stain. Yea, I'm sure everyone would want a drain in the middle of their living room floor.
