I just listened to President-elect Obama's speech today.
I thought it was great!
I thought his speech was straight forward and I think he has picked

a great economic team!

He admitted that the economy might go down more, before it goes up,

we have a long, tough road ahead, but we will eventually get out of this
economic nightmare!

Any other thoughts on the speech today?

since you ASKED.. there is a shred of hope.

Obamas transition team has been in touch with larouche.

The key is to dump the federal reserve, the central bank.

You must understand- EVERYTHING hinges on the control of the money.   This is like you paying me $20 an hour to use your computer.

The crux of civilization hinges on the overthrow of the fed.   I am dead serious.

In the past year- massive amounts of wealth have evaporated.   Blame this on the globalists who WILL CHARGE YOU for using everything that is yours once they secure final control this decade.

every other issue is mute.  if money has no value or some value or lots of value- and a few oligark men decide this- the masses will never have the resources to thrive.

See Ron Paul.     Mia you need to grip just how urgent this issue is.  Something will replace the curent system.  so will it be a cartel, or what the US consitution has formatted?

Finally, someone who realizes there was ONE candidate who understood what the real major issue was facing this world. It wasn't about the phallacies of guns being taken away, abortion being granted up to age ten, social security being privatized, or any of those other nonsensical emotional issues that are so checked and balanced it isn't funny. It's the economy, and how the neocons have printed money out of thin air, creating this faux rise in the stock market, housing, lending, you name it. Now the bubble burst, and they bail out those industries.  Ron Paul predicted it, and has known all along what needed to be done to fix it. But hey, what do I know, people either voted for a hope and change slogan, or fear and barbie. Even though I saw zero substance from Obama, I'm extremely interested in the course he's taking, and I applaud that the man is moving, and if he's moving towards dumping the fed reserve, then I will beat my chest at those foolish friends of mine who said "I wasted a vote" by not voting for Obama or McCain.  When a large group of people are out there waiting for their votes to be courted (Dr. Pauls followers) some of that message gets through.  The strategists in the new world order parties aren't dumb, and need us, and to get us, they better listen to the core issue, that being exactly what is needed to fix the economy.  If you don't fix the way money is controlled, everything else is just a bigger band aid.  Wooohooo libertarian ideals!!!!

Yes, I listened to Obama’s words and objectively attempted to balance what he said with what he withheld, the scale tipped disproportionately. Half truths are no less a lie.

Shiv,   isnt that the truth!

I emailed congress this morning. I was explaining this to a buddy the other day, my god- local people are clueless!

lets see, I will assess you $50 for your couch this month, $20 for your stove, $30 for your fridge.  If you want to have a roof, you  have no other choice but to pay it.

the fact is- that the big power crashes countries on purpose so as to build up a huge fortune.   this is high treason.

only the government can issue debt- under the US Constitution.  Why do ya thing we left the British?  we left due to the bank extracting money of us.

if privatized roads are bad, think of how EVERYTHING is about to be privatized.   You might not own your hair, your spit and your spleen.

Why else would the congress be recklessly spending right now?  the ship is sinking.
http://larouchepac.com/news/2008/11/21/lpactv-larouchepac-weekly-report-november-21-2008.html    <-- this is where I heard obamas tranisition team has at least seen the idea.

do you think 29% interest is bad, $25 NSF fees?   wait untill the decade runs out and you can barely scrape some ramon noodles up for the week.

well first off, the economy does not 'have' to go down before it goes up...but the current policies and the policies he'd support will make it go down (and down and down)...so I agree with him half-way.

THE  amount of wealth wiped out is staggering.   supposedly we all have mutual funds and or stocks, even if you dont- you do.   but now with a 20-40% decline in it....hmm.

I bought some groveries today.    ohh ahhh... now im gonna make it thru the storm.  :-)

naomi klein was on democracy now today.  one of obamas staff is a dude that wiped out russia in the 90s.

http://en.rian.ru/world/20081124/118512713.html    <-- this so-called expert thinks the US will divide up into 6 nations.   at minimun we have to go back to states rights...and dump unfunded madates.

centralized control that is top heavy never stands for long.   if you were free - that your state left the union, maybe that wouldnt be as bad as it sounds.

either way- i know i like to eat- so i have abit of food in the house- so its a start...its better then i was yesderday

if you think that the stock market crashing means that money disappeared, you are wrong. why are you wrong? you are forgetting about the sellers of the stocks. if prices are down, it means money is just in other corners of the market.

oh, I remember when the nation tried to divide up in the past. I think one side of it invaded the other and burnt all of its cities to the ground in a patriotic blaze of unity and freedom.

not with shorts, naked shorts, spreads, structured dirivatives, and most of all fraction banking.  the money profit might have gone to rothschild... but when the market was worse then a casino with almost no house rules- should we be surprised.

you and i are expected to herniate a disk for  $20.    but what they done with the currency mocks nearly every person that followed the rules.   ild be curious to hear the talk in the prisons between bank robbers....

i dont think the matter is happenstance.  but ya know- society at large suffers when fresh ideas are squashed via fear and economy chaos.

if the lone self works hard and does everything right,  then has it in effect taken away from him, what motivation is there to keep doing it?

wait until the dollar is 10 cents on the dollar.  most every country will devalue as well.  you can not run and you can not hide.   everyone is going to...  flip out

repeat after me.  i am my brothers banker.  i am my bankers keeper.  i am my bankers banker.

Unlike the man he'll be replacing  (  ) ,  his way of speaking is refreshingly direct , and confidence inspiring .   And he actually answers the questions asked of him by reporters !!!    For any politician , that's a wonder in itself !
Of course he's still a man , and no miracle worker - and we are in some very serious trouble .   But I sure like seeing him at the helm , and have great hopes for this country eventually turning itself around , and regaining respect from others - and ourselves !.
