I think that labels are the worst thing that can happen to us. We are all individuals, and as such, really should define outselves according to our individual beliefs and needs.
Labels are only used because people need some frame of reference; but are those labels accurate? Of course not, because even if you and I might both be submissive, it doesn't mean that you are more submssive than I, or that I am more submssive than you. And let's suppose that you enjoy topping from time-to-time. Does that make you less submissive? I think not.
So, until we develop a broader frame of reference, these defintions or labels will still exisit.
