The Department of the Interior states it has taken disciplinary action against a half dozen or more employees of the Departments Minerals Managemetn Services.  The actions ranaged from termination to verbal warnings.  This Service is suppose to collect the money the Government gets when it lease public land to private companies, in this case the Oil Companies who gave lavish gifts, arranged parties and sex for the Service employees.  The Oil Companies, who are reporting recored profits have not paid since the Clinton Administration.  No word on the Government collect some 7 Billion dollars, yes Billio,n the Oil Companies owe in oil royalties, the amount is still growing, not to mention the penalties and interest on the money.
 
The State Department has annouced that it is fining an unspecified amount of money to their Security Company Blackwater for illegally smuggling some 900 weapons into Iraq, much of the weapons went on the black market and fell into enemy hands.  Blackwater continues to claim innocents to this and all other allegations including the killing of some 18 civilian, drug smuggling etc.
