ORIGINAL: rulemylife Ultimately, the man was charged with a misdemeanor. Whether he should have been charged with more is arguable, but it is not an apt analogy to someone who has been convicted of multiple felony crimes. IN MY OPINION he should have been charged with much more which bolsters my point that I made in my second post (Makes you wonder. Doesn't it?). Thank you for taking the time to look it up (as I refuse to do peoples' research for them). No matter how anyone wants to spin it, a young lady died who quite possibly would not have died had Senator Kennedy not been busy worrying about C.H.O.A. ? Was Ted Kennedy a trained rescue diver? While Ms Kopechne's body might have been found much earlier it is not clear that Kennedy, or anyone else, could have rescued her from the car after it went into the water.
