My Daddy is not out in his professional life, and only limitedly so in his personal life. While I am significantly more out about my involvement in kink, he would never force me to be out with visible marks, especially none that might be seen at work.

That is exactly what I was thinking... I have only ever had one visible mark and it was a bite mark on my chest... Long story that not a lot of people know about, and I plan on keeping it that way... But My family was going to KILL my ex... they asked me where it came from... I told them it was from him, and they got even MORE furious... it took me HOURS to convince them that he wasn't just beating on me.... Not a good thing...

Plus, I think that any kinds of marks should not be anywere you can see them in the clothes that you wear normally... I LOVE hickies... But only because I love the way they feel when I'm getting them... but I thinkt hat seeing them is trashy... But now that I have my collar, they can go under it, and I wouldn't have ANY problems...

Sweets has been doing pretty well as to not leave a hand shaped bruise around my neck after any hot and steamy session... Seeing Bruises and scratches, and teeth marks on my skin is SOOOO hot! I look at them and just get turned on becuase I am thinking about what was going on when I got that mark... It's bad though that I for Halloween, had my stepdad help me to put makeup on my neck to look like I had been strangled... and Every time I looked in the mirror, I got turned on because I would LOVE to have something like that after a session! hahaha!

He doesn't try to put marks on me but I think the bruise I got from him that was the worst was when I wasn't wearing my glasses and started to step off the curb. He grabbed me so hard to keep me from being hit by a speeding car that it left a bruise. Clear fingerprints but not from fun and games.

Seeing marks on others does nothing for me, it doesn't bother me though. I have never hidden my marks but usually they are covered as they are on my breasts, back, stomach, ass or thighs.

Anytime I received marks from Mistress, I never bothered hiding them. I don't go around just showing them off, either. If someone asks what they are or where they came from, they might get an answer that they weren't expecting to hear.

There was an occasion at work where someone noticed large bit marks on my neck that Mistress gave to me. Trying to embarrass me or something, the person asked if I got attacked by a vacuum. I simply replied, "Not quite...I was attacked by a gothic vampire goddess. Mistress had me tied down and pinned underneath her. Since she is into vampirism, she wanted to test out her new fangs. I'm just glad she didn't chip a tooth on my collar." Then I displayed my collar. The guy quickly shut up and left. *shrugs*

No I have never displayed my marks except for when I got them. They are generally in places that are covered and I keep them that way. No sense in getting someone all stirred up thinking I'm being abused. Just not a good idea to have them visible to the general public.

Generally, marks are very temporary in my play, if there are any marks at all, so, nothing would show ... but even so, the marks would be on her backside or on her teats, so, they'd not show except at a poolside gathering. If I were to see telltale play marks on someone else, the main attraction for me would be the same as that of a skirt.

Why?

Well, I believe a woman who wears a skirt or dress with a slit in it or a flimsy bodice garners more attention from me simply because there is a chance that I will see more, a chance that I can get inside, as opposed to a locked up pair of jeans or a frumpy housedress with no frills nor openings to "accidentally" blow open or swing wide.

Same idea with a woman with marks on her butt and tits. There is that wonderful chance that I'll get a chance to have some of that ... and that, my dear, is what keeps a man's interest! (at least this man's interest as YMMV).

Honestly, half the time I couldn't tell you which bruise was from a stroke from my Master or from me falling or running into the side of a door jam.

Hell you touch me too hard and I bruise.

I find my own marks and the marks on my "involved" friends hot but on a stranger.... naw don't really give a damn.

I've proudly displayed marks on my neck from biting/sucking and imagine that the same smug, happy, satisfied eeling would accompany marks obtained from other fun activities. :>

Sometimes i don't really care if the marks are seen. Sometimes they can't help but be observed. If asked, i usually already have something in my head beforehand. Like when i was in physical therapy for my back and the therapist saw the marks from the knife play.

My first thought when seeing marks on a stranger is that "wow, that person is as clumsy as me." The ones that I have inflicted on myself are the only ones that are usually visible. Aside from the random handprint on my thigh.

On our last vacation, I got to roam about the country with a great big black eye. I got into a fight with the nightstand the evening before our departure (said fight was fueled by lots of whiskey lol) and lost. Oh the looks we got! It was hilarious.

Yep, marks aren't always an indication of play. I once had the perfect imprint of a bike seat on my inner thigh when I took a tumble off my bike. Looked like a weird alien head.

The day after I came home from a Weekend with Sweets, I had a bruise around my forearm.... It hurt BAD too.... I started to get all excited, thinking that it was from Him holding me down or something.... But then I asked Him... He told me that I was thrashing around in my sleep (Which explained why I was still so tired), and I hit my arm off of the closet door knob that his bed is right up against.... He had to move me over to the other side because He was afraid that I would hit my head....

He is really very gentle for being so damn rough.... I bruise very easily, however, I have never had bruises after a long night with Him....

I've gotten so many brusies from just being a plain 'ole klutz...that any marks on me just get passed off as "me being less than graceful".... I mean I can trip over my own feet, in rubber soled flats... Me=Graceful...not a chance in hell.
