Turn on the news.   The trickle down effect of high gas prices and imports have crippled us.   Why you all want to hang on to Bush and his scare tactics is beyond me.

Indeed, 700 hundred billion dollars later. Don't you see, it was all fake ? We had no real prosperity. The proof of that is before our eyes in the form of current events, if we could only see.

I think that the President has many on the governmental payroll that do the job of protecting him.  What I think and express will not affect him much.  I am much too preoccupied with what is going on in my own backyard, to concern myself on the goings on at Pennsylvania Avenue.  However, I will be pretty pleased when the economy starts to turn around.

And we as a whole gave President Bush way too much credit on the positives, as well as the negatives, that have gone on in this country.  I may be about as politically-minded as a rock, but I know that much.

I am choosing to keep my opinions about the job obama will do in the vaults of myspace. Only so I won't be called a racist too often, but will still have proof of my opinion so at a later date I can say "nah nah told you so".
I will never say that obama "aint MY president" because someone pointed out to me that saying that the elected POUSA isn't my president makes me kind of unamerican. I can disagree with him and his followers, I love this country too much to allow this to make me denounce it.
As for 'uniting' for something I don't believe is right, sorry that won't happen. Besides I am far too busy clinging to my god, my guns, and working hard to pay for those who won't to spend time 'uniting'. So I will agree to just keep my mouth shut for the most part. I think that is pretty fair.

We are in serious economic and social extreme in this country. It was due to Bush.

Seeking unity while preaching division is a study in irony.

I must admit, though I'm certainly no admirer of Bush, you make a valid point.
