We played at The Enclave in Denver last night. My first club and first public play...and first time with electrical play. With the help of a very nice gentleman who had the sparkies, my Lady put me up on a rotating wheel and they used a violet wand and a very shocky toy with a metal rod. There were metal strips on the wheel behind me and so I got shocks through those, and then directly from the wand. Wrap that up with a pair of vibrating gloves, and I was just wiped out! And they were honestly quite light on me I think. My Lady had to drive home and I fell asleep in the car. I am wondering if it was just all the new stuff I was exposed to, or if this tiredness after is a part of electrical play? It really did ramp me up!

You'll get advice, maybe, but even if somebody says "I have that too", it is meaningless. It is either the level of emotion, or you have a medical problem. Electrical play is not without risk, since both the brain and the heart respond to electrical stimuli, so please see a doctor and discuss. There is no point in taking risk, and your tiredness can very well have a biological cause, that is not a stretch.

I am going to agree with antipode here, but only slightly. Since it was last night that you played, if you are still feeling weak and tired by tonight, I would definitly have it checked out. Some fatigue can be normal with electrical play, but if it lasts for more than 12 hours, I would be worried.

Thanks for the replies. This morning I feel pretty good. A little tired, but no more than I would the day after normal play. I will see how I feel tonight and reassess. I have to say it was GREAT FUN and I think I am going to be a fan of the shockies. [;)]

Sounds like you had a lot of fun Ottersswim. I remember my first public scene as well, I think its the rush of emotions, the rush of the high. When everything is over, I crashed and slept as well. When you fly that high, you inevitability come down :)

i too get very tired after Master uses the electro toys on me. It is the rush of the endorphines coming down. Sorta like coming down from an adrenalin rush. all though it makes me very tired ....... i love electro play. kristi

I'm thinking it was most likely the amount of stimuli you received. New Place, Public Play, Wheel, Violet Wand, Vibrating Gloves? Yea, that'd wear most people out. :) Glad you enjoyed the electric play! I've grown to like it, it's taking its time for sure :P

When you fly that high, you inevitability come down :) i would have to say this was mostly my first reaction though i havnt public played before i was thinking an endorphine rush and you enjoyed it so much and had exerted all your energy to regain it all you slept and ive even done that if i had a high fly of rush in a scene though i havnt really been to a nice deep subspace but will sooo very soon.
