I gave out Kit Kat bars and Tootsie Roll Pops.
They're BOTH my favorites!
Now, whatever shall I do with all this left ober candy?

I forgot to get candy, so I gave out peppermints.  I have a bowl of them sitting in my kitchen that I never eat.  LOL.  Luckily, only two trick-or-treaters came to my door tonight.

Sorry erin....Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghh! Actually it was more like MuuuuuuuuHHHaaaaHHHHaaaaa. We had somewhere between 150 to 200 Treaters (they know better than to trick at our house). I can't understand it, we were all dressed up with only 5 of us on the front porch and several of the candy seekers simply would not get past the first step before shifting into reverse and mumbling something like OHHHHH NOOOO.....Muhahaha. Hope everyone had a good one. [:D]

Zero trick-or-treaters came by, which was what I was expecting.  Since there are community deals every year at the community college 6 blocks from here, and the Two community centers (neither of which is more than 2 miles from here) and the city Zoo, and the small amusement park on the other side of town, and in every shopping mall in town (there are 4 of 'em)..... no one takes their kids out around the neighborhoods any more.  What that means for me is that I don't invest a bunch of money in candy that no one will come by for, only to have it sitting around here tempting me to constantly indulge in processed sugar.

I took myself to dinner, then came home, did a bit of ritual, sat around in the hot tub for a while, went to a local bar to play a few games of pool, came home and did a couple more rituals that I had cross my mind while playing pool....

No one came here, no trick or treaters which was a pity as I had to tip the bucket of water away.

In fact, last night was quiet, no ums and parents, no yobbos nor signs of the zombie like exodus to the pub that is common on a friday night. The police were out though, they put in an appearance complete with van and caged windshield at the ready, were they expecting something perhaps or was their appearance designed to reassure.

Even the tv was crap last night, what happened to halloween ?
