This was a poll conducted by Pew Research, which I looked up after seeing it on the Colbert Report.  Basically the tested audiences of different news shows on whether they knew the house majority party, the name of the Secretary of State and the name of the PM of Britain.  Notice the % of BBC watchers who could name the PM of Britain was 8th- thought that was funny.  And kind of interesting how some people you would think are not so smart for what shows they make a habit of watching are actually more knowledgable than you thought.

omg- just noticed ESPN watchers ranked higher than CNN watchers

CBS ranks between the Weather Channel and the National Enquirer...

No surprise there.

What surprises me is the mark for C-span viewer.  Generally I should think the people that look view C-Span would rank pretty high up in terms of politcal acumen.
