Wouldn't surprise me at all. What do we REALLY know about McCain?

It seems he had better luck than Kennedy at Chapaquidick.

Actually what do we really know about any of these people ? Clinton leaves a trail of dead bodies and then is brought down by a blow job. Back room dealings have been part and parcel of the political process for a long time.

Though I refuse to cite the source, it has been written that the major politicians are selected because they have skeletons in the closet, which can be exposed at will in the future. Doesn't seem all that far fetched to me. Piss off the wrong people and your past becomes an open book.

That's the way it looks.

The text of the article: "The patient admission record logs that you seek are exempt from release," wrote G.E. Lattin, Deputy Assistant Judge Advocate General, "as information in personnel and medical files, as well as similar personal information in other files, that if disclosed to a requestor, other than the actual person in which the information is pertaining to or next of kin, would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy."

Duh?  Medical records are private.  If the magazine wants them so bad, they should be asking the person or family in question.  A story about how they 'think' someone might have been hurt or killed, but can't prove it, shows more about the incompetence of the reporters than it does about the Navy.

As far as I am concerned, until there is something concrete and not a bunch of heresay... this is drivel and nothing to be given time on.  Look what happened with that Ashley chick who carved the B on her face.  You start pushing a story you 'think' is true and things get ugly...and uncalled for, IMHO.

It's just journalistic 'spinning'. Of course they know the hospital records can't be released without the consent of the patient.

Either they threw that in to make it look like there's a cover-up or they are hoping to have someone come forward my releasing as much info as they do have.

Probably a little of both.

Interesting, I don't remember reading any of that. Read the book, don't just regurgitate slanderish gibberish.

I do agree, though, that scandal plagues every party, because they are still just people. And we all have our weaknesses, character flaws and moments of bad judgment.

Edited: removed a more personal attack which I try to avoid. But sometimes you guys really get me fired up.

Let’s face it he don't have much upper arm movement so I doubt he can turn the wheel through 180 degrees and this usually means avoiding going any other direction than straight on into the abyss can be a problem for him. Computer simulations have also proven McCain can’t negotiate turnings in the range of 10-50 degrees.

I thought the Navy went around in boats

Compadre, that's an old, old urban legend.  It's in Snopes under "Clinton death watch."

Does it really even matter. Would you believe that an event that happened 44 years ago, an event that EASILY could happen to any one of us on a day to day basis has any merit or value what so ever on the choices at hand to the American people.

(Not that I have an opinion either way on if this is true.... I don't know, I don't care.... But if it was proved to be true all I could say is "How Aweful". It's not something anyone wants to live with.)

If you were to read the book that he himself authored you would find what I have posted is true.
I did neglect to list "traitor and collaborator" in my charges which "ace" McCain also freely admits to.  Yes he also mentions that he was tortured so that made it ok....How many other "guests" at the "Hanoi Hilton" were also tortured but did not sign confessions or give interviews to Cuban journalists?
Of all the inmates who were "ace" McCain's peers, don't you find it more than a little interesting that only two will vouch for him?  Both of whom have worked for "ace" McCain's father in law.
