I ran across this snippet about Madonna.  Seems having a tight and toned body isn't all it's cracked up to be.

You know that doesn't really surprise me at all. All the pics I've seen of her in recent years look just horrible and she's always in workout gear. It looked to me like she has an out of control obsession with exercise. I guess it's no surprise since she is at heart, a "material girl".

madge was always one of the few popstars i liked for the music rather than the looks

dont get me wrong while im not that superficial and 50 yr old with the body of a 25 year old is nothing to sniff at , it was just something about her ..

This is probably true.  More than disease, which in most cases can probably be dealt with via meds, the poison she spread to impressionable young woman with her "slut is good" stage personna has probably much longer term impact than some bacteria.  She cashed in big time using her God given talent, and she is very talented, appealing to the rising hormone levels in teens and pre-ten children.  Not too many 20+ year olds walked around with their underwear as outerwear as the kids did...inviting..well, sending out pretty hot vibes to young teen boys.
