Hmm....I have heard people use some of those expressions. The directions are what you will typically hear in a rural area. Most people pay attention to landmarks rather than street names or numbers.

A local township supervisor wants me to speak at a meeting. I simply cant agree to it as I wont find the building. 4 miles past the hospital, near the smokey the bear sign.

egads.

the topic is to stop people from burning crap in burn barrels. mainly plastics.
