I just finished listening to McCain and Obama speak at the
Afred E. Smith Memorial Dinner.
They were both very funny, and it is worth watching.

Dang it, McCain actually does have a sense of humor.
In fact, McCain made me laugh harder than Obama!

They both displayed a humorous side that is rarely displayed
during the campaign!

Laugh and Enjoy!

This is so funny. It makes them both human.
McCain reminds me of my granpa and his jokes,
Obama kind of like a professor who is cool and willing to take a joke

McCain was a riot.

Obama kept saying that he liked "palling" around with the folks in the room.

Himself and I watched this on tv and we were just rolling.

What a hoot! We both loved it. Tomorrow, I'm sure it's back to business as usual, but tonight was a welcome breath of fresh air and I loved seeing the genuine laughter that frequently erupted in the whole room from two men who have both earned my respect for different reasons even when I don't agree with their policies.

I thought those were great, nice to see some humour. I like John MCain when he relaxes and has some fun.

I think if it gets to the point mccain knows for a fact he won't win, we'll see more humor or the old mccain again.

i think the roast should replace the debates.  It was nice seeing a human side to them both.  They both were hilarious....but i think McCain had better joke writers.  i was late getting to the ariport because i was laughing so hard.

I like Obama`s line ,how the Waldorf had such a good view of New York, that you could see the Russian Tea Room from the front steps.

McCain was hilarious. Obama had some bright moments, but fell a little flat overall.

I thought both did well, considering that both speeches were written for them.  You didn't think that was all ad lib?

Thread Hijack!!  That old, gaunt man sitting behind the podium.  Didn't he just make you think of Sir Stephan in The Story of O.
