Okay SunnyFey. . . here is a different eye-roll for the day, since you found the other "objectionable."  *hee hee*

People who find out I think something is wrong/stupid, promptly tell me that *they* do it, then get pissed off when I don't immediately change my opinion - or say, "Oh, I didn't mean YOU!"

LadyHibiscus -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/9/2009 8:00:13 PM)

My eyes have pretty much rolled right out of my head today.  I think I might make myself a new set of friends in the local community because there's a WHOLE bunch of them I really don't want to associate with!

Yanno porn is good mostly, but it's really very disturbing to open your homepage and see a pic of some guy getting head... really now.

Rainfire -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/11/2009 6:38:55 AM)

Walking into my fucking front door wondering why the hell it won't open when after smashing into it, I remember that I locked it and the keys were in my pocket.  [8|]   Yep - feeling like a real winner today.

Daddysredhead -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/11/2009 9:51:21 PM)

My boss buzzes me and wants to know why I haven't updated a due date in one of our cases.  I pulled the paper file, looked at her notes and noticed that she had the wrong case name and wrong case number on her message to me.  When I brought the file and her message printout to her, showing that she was the one who phukked up, she looked at it and said, "Oh... can you clean that up in the system and in the hard file?"  [8|]

How about saying, "I messed that up, I shouldn't have questioned you first thing in the morning when my head is obviously not on straight."  [>:]

Aylee -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/11/2009 10:08:55 PM)

Red,

Did you smack her with a V-8?  And if the answer is "NO," I would like to know why you did not.

Daddysredhead -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/11/2009 10:20:40 PM)

No, I didn't.  Kali said I should've punched her.

I wasn't sure if I could come up with enough bail money if I got arrested for it.  [&o]

Red, it always goes over like a lead balloon when I show my employer her fuck ups. Getting the words "I'm sorry" out of her is like getting a steak out of a hungry pit bulls mouth, or a coherent thought out of The Lump. [:D]

unfortunately it is me making my eyes roll... I went to one of those multi level shopping centres and parked my car in the carpark and for once remembered which level my car was parked on  BUT spent an HOUR trying to find the fricken entry to the car park from the shopping centre.

HatesParisHilton -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/12/2009 5:20:42 AM)

Don't get me started on that uber expensive multi-tiered with walkways connecting different sides AND levels shopping place in San Diego near the convention centre.  I swear Escher designed that thing.  I got snabberpazzted by it in DAYLIGHT.

At night I shanghaid an ex-soldier to be a "guide" to get us from the burger joint to the cinema there!

stella41b -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/12/2009 10:26:47 AM)

A 33 year old woman advertising on another website for a 'Sunday boyfriend'

The ideal candidate needs to be minimum 28 and 5ft 10ins tall and up for 'coffee and cake, cinema, pub lunches, chatting, laughing, holding hands, cuddling, perhaps kissing, but not sex nor a relationship'.

Oh and the woman stipulates that the lucky guy cannot be already in a relationship.

Meetings only on Sunday afternoon.

However the woman assures us that she is 33, slim (size 8/10), 5ft 5ins and 'fun to be with'.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: What has made your eyes roll today? (9/12/2009 10:31:16 AM)

Perhaps it's uncharitable of me, but a post on freecycle where she said one sacrifice she made to move was getting rid of her portable dishwasher, and I'm thinking what ever happened to washing them by hand. Sure a dishwasher would be nice, and it may save some time, but  in my experince half the time people wait several days to fill it up to justify doing a load of dishes and by then you could of easily in moments hand washed them yourself. If someone had an illness that affected their house cleaning abilities and there for a dishwasher saved the day, that I'd understand but just flat out not desireing to hand wash them, nope.
