Ok, 2 things, one being a sorta, kinda, mini-rant....
The first and easiest one, is the kitteh who knowing I have to leave in a bit for a doctor's appointment is insisting on lapping me RIGHT NOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, and insisting that I will pet, adore and worship her NOW, GODDAMMIT! (on pain of teeth in skin!)
Secondly, that the asshat landlords are in a tenant-landlord dispute claiming discrimination and wanted US to write a letter saying that they've never done anything discriminatory and that the maintenance around here is top-notch, no problems whatsoever. Uhhhhh, hello? Reality check, please? This is the same place where the owner sprayed gasoline on the walls to get rid of bugs. This is the place where they refuse to address a mold problem in the bathroom, even though I clean it every 2 weeks with bleach. This is the place where they refuse to actually fix the kitchen faucet causing water leaking down the back wall, they just slap a new gasket on and say "there ya go, right as rain" and walk off when in reality, the whole faucet needs to be replaced along with the cupboard because of water damage. This is the place where they've taken up 5 days to fix a broken refrigerator, causing us to lose over $300 in food, no reimbursement. Which said refrigerator is still so fucked up that it freezes all the food in the fridge part no matter how low I turn it down and we won't mention the freezer part..... The place where they keep insisting they'll replace the window screens but still have yet to do it - months after notification.
And last but not least, these are the people who will evict your ass if you complain or say anything. Ohhhhh ya, and they want US to be a character witness for them? [8|]
