in the real world..... yes the company from the terminator movies is alive and well...in japan. will the world fall to robots? mind you..this is just a robot suit...

As depicted in the films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Cyberdyne is initially a benign manufacturing corporation in Sunnyvale, California. No, Skynet was the computer that controlled the machines that were trying to exterminate humanity. Cyberdyne was the company that built it.

Personally, I think it’s good that Cyberdyne actually exists. If we are going to have Armageddon, we might as well have a cool one will killer robots.

Fair point, well made. I was working from memory.
There have been some innovations in nanotechnology pertaining to human motor systems, although still not fully practicable.
I could see a future where we could have advanced organ replacement or even brain enhancements. This is quite a way from truly sentient AI, which remains largely infantile.
