Come to London.. You might not get the same programs but you don't get the debate either.

Yeah right!
I could go to Tahiti and not get the debate too, I think I would prefer Tahiti much better then London though.

I seem to recall tuning into Parliment at one point... you're right, they don't have debate in the UK... all they do is slag on each other.

That really does suck.  Forcing Canadians to watch our debates.  Bad enough we have to suffer through them.  I'm surprised they don't invade.

because rogers aka comcast...offers american channels.    in fact most of it is american.
alot of the new shows are on CBS.  some of the canadian channels actualy take it from the american.

edit:plus i can watch shows that are on at the same time since they replay on the american channels 3 hours later.  like ktla has smallville, supernatural, and some others that start at 11pm.  so i can watch some nights from 8-1am straight of all new eps.

We don't have to suffer through them, just choose not to watch them. And yeah sometimes the debates and political shit hijacks a show we want to watch, but we'll catch it next week or online or something . So really if you don't like the debates don't watch. I haven't suffered anything because of them, simply since I don't watch.
