Softness, it wasn't a personal attack on you- it was a statement that personally, I'd prefer to not be in the splatterzone of a couple going at it on a bus.

As for the mod thing, was hoping you'd edit the numbers out of your post, as I find it annoying when my posts get moderated... and I don't notice until two days later.

Yeh for us.   And ditto to pee, shit and spitting on the sidewalk.  Don't want to have to witness any of those when i am out of the house.

and yes, in the house i have experienced at least one or two of these things in an erotic way.  I prefer to keep my sex life (semi)private.  I don't want to know what my kids do , and they don't want to know what i do  - therefore, man invented doors.

eh.  This is one of those crazyass arguments that no one's ever going to "win".  We all know what the "issue" is, whether we are defending it or attacking it.  It all comes down to basic, decent common courtesy.  In my opinion, one person's beliefs, their "right" to do or say what they want shouldn't override another person's right to some semblance of comfort in their own world.   For instance.. I can cuss like a sailor, but I'm considerate enough to not "fuck this/fuck that" in front of grandma, the patients at my office, or little ears that shouldn't hear...   The words don't bother ME, but that's not the point, it's not all about me, so I control myself.

The public stuff, there might be some level of hotness in my fantasy world, but I don't necessarily want it in my reality.

I'd strongly suspect the filmed incidents take place somewhere relatively "safe", while they give the impression that it's more risque' than it is. I mean, I don't believe everything I see on film occurs exactly the way it appears to, do you?

You know... being open minded swings both ways.

You have to be open minded to accept sex in public.

You also have to be open minded enough to realize some folks might.

Doing something solely for the shock value seems a little immature to me-

my understanding is that in France, they had urinals in open public.  Its all a matter of perspective.

I think they need to visit my old home town.  The last time I was there I took a drive down memory lane and hit all the old spots.  And right there, on the side of the local McDonalds (one of the old ones), I saw a girl with her back pressed against the wall, and some guy with his jeans still on, pounding into her while her legs were wrapped around his waist.  Two other guys were watching.
I think this public stuff happens a lot more than we think.

But I will admit I would not want it going on during a bus ride.  If I ever have to take one I am carrying along some lysol.
