How can they summarise the week in politics on Thursday? They seem to be hoping no political news will occur on Friday.

Quite honestly, I could not tell you a single program that is on television other than the sports schedules; the youngin and I don't watch television unless there is a sport that either one of us wants to see. That's about all TV is good for

Specifically Thursdays? ... I don't watch much of anything on Thursday nights. That's the night for "Music From the Hearts of Space" on NPR, followed by a show on Irish folk music. My wife and I usually make that our "candlight and cuddle" night.

I don't follow any television programs regularly.  I did watch Married with Children reruns all week on Spike.  Normally I only watch the news, the History Channel, or any channel if a movie is on.  I do watch Real Time with Bill Maher every Friday, even though I despise Bill Maher.

I try to catch "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart and "The Colbert Report" every week night.  The best news on cable, hands down.

We just recently subscribed to HBO so I'm loving the new show "True Blood," based on Charlaine Harris' "Sookie Stackhouse" southern vampire novels.  I'm not generally into that type of book or show but I love the southern part of it more than the vampire part.  It's cool and keeps me coming back from week to week.

I love "Jeopardy" but they only show it here at 11 am on weekdays.  WTF????  So, I always miss that ....................luci

I haven't watched serial television in many years. It is all so mind numbingly stupid.

I prefer movies or the educational channels. Discovery, National Geographic, History, etc..........stuff I can actually learn from.

Well, if we're just talking about what shows we consider worthwhile:

Mythbusters
The Universe
Nova
Primeval
Dr. Who
Daily Show/Colbert
Countdown
Robot Chicken
Venture Bros.

Im at home alot so I do watch alot of tv although if Im in control of the remote its likely to be on Turner Classic, cant beat a good b/w with some of the crap today.

When Im not in control which is 98% of the time, my sister is. OMG you have never found such a die hard tv person as she is, life exists for tv and her cats. She has the drv full and going all the time, and insists that Im  gonna like it. Oy. She does begrudge me a couple of slots of programs I like (if there is room) so that I can watch them the next day. Not only that but things that dont fit on the dvr, she watches online, yes she know every program that appears online the next day. But then again she works for a major broadcast company in audience analysis

Long as I catch House and Amazing Race and ER since its the last season and I have been faithful to it, Im happy.

Yeah, Friday is POETS day here in Britain, well, it used to be.

Anyway, tv is crap, background noise only whilst doing something more interesting.

I watch.

Heroes
The Sarah Conner Chronicles
24
Lost.
The Office.(the first episode this season was really bad, I think they've had a writer change or something).

I watch them all online, generally why doing something else.

Besides that, I watch documentaries and, political stuff.

Oh and I have a lot of the Star Trek TNG's in Divx, So, play them sometimes in the background. I've probably seen every episode like 10 times, on and off.
