My hair is about shoulder length.....not really sure why I'm growing it out, I guess just to prove that I can......personally, it's a pain.....I sweat when I sleep if it falls on my neck, I'm constantly jumping and yelling when a piece of it drops down my arm.....the whole "bug" thing.....I don't really do anything with it, since I usually have helmet hair from my motorcycle helmet anyway. I just had some of it trimmed off, but it grows so fast, that I'm already putting it up into a ponytail...... No one tells me what to do with it, but I don't really care either way...long or short, it's still work. I'll keep it at least this long though...I love having it pulled!

Mine's short - as you can see in my pic there, to the left - yep, there you go. I had in short in HS but it's longer now than it was then. I let my hair grow out when I was in college to see what it was like, and I decided I hated it. My hair is actually quite curly and so when it was long, it was almost bigger than I was! I looked like Triangle Head and no matter who cut my hair, it forever remained unruly. I chopped it off again the day I realized I had been wearing it up in a ponytail for 3 weeks. Short hair suits me, though - I'm fairly petite, have a very delicate bone structure, etc. That and when my hair is long, you can't see my eyes and I rather happen to like them. Oh and my hair is still long enough to be very yankable! Mmmm....[;)]

Master used to have short hair, but is now growing it. Mine is past shoulder length so that He can grab a lovely fistful when He pulls it YUMMY! my hair grows ridiculously fast. it's about mid-bra dry, so wet I imagine it's a bit longer (it's wavy-curly-ish). I keep it long to avoid the pyramid effect, but if it gets too long it's just too hot and heavy.. I generally get the length trimmed 2-3 times a year. if for some reason it's really annoying me, I get it chopped 4-5 inches, and the cycle begins again... his is ultra-short, and spectacularly handsome.

Mine grows really fast too currently it is down the middle of my back just past the end of my bra in back course I just had two inches cut off so it was a little longer than that.

Just below shoulder length, here. I once had it below the middle of my back and it was such a pain. I'd tangle up in it when I slept, and it just seemed hair would be in everything. So I cut it. I like the way shorter hair feels, and the way it shapes my face when it is styled. I once had above-the-neck short hair, and while it felt awesome, I looked awful in it. Not doing that again!

Short. Used to be long. (And big. You know...80's and all.) Cut it. Donated it it locks of love. Grew it a bit and cut it a few times. Might be growing it again. I'm 44 and still have a full head of good hair. I'm lucky. In the past it's been bleached, dyed, permed, straightened, streaked, teased, sprayed...You name it. But God...I was beautiful!!! LOL!!! Very lucky indeed.

I had long hair from my teens to my 40s when I buzzed it all off. I started growing it back again earlier this year and I can finally slick it back and put it in a ponytail again.

I have never done the ponytail thing. A couple of my brothers have it that way. I think I may give it a try and see how it turns out. My hair does grow fast.

Mine is down to my ass, actually just below the butt crack, but I normally wear it in a pony tail, or braided cos it irritates the hell outta me. I have to be careful when its braided tho, it tends to swing out like a whip and if Im in a queue anywhere I have to be careful not to whack someone with it. Its very thick and heavy and straight.
