I wish... but the credit belongs to SilverWulf

I had the same reaction though, it was an awfully good catch  [sm=biggrin.gif]

Clinton saying that Palin is "composed... effective" is about the same sort of compliment as the conservative, racist nutbag who tried to compliment Obama by saying "...well, he's so clean and well spoken..."

Not that it matters in the least. Unless something really, really nasty happens between now and November, Obama's in. I look forward to Palin's book: "Being There II: or There and Back Again, a Hockey Mom's Holiday." Wherein she recounts how she had more than her 15 minutes of fame.

If you're referring to Mitt Romney, he actually said 'well-spoken, handsome young man' and called him 'attractive' (something you wanna tell us Mitt?? [;)]) .. but yeah, it's about the same sort of thing as what Hillary said regarding Palin. As has been pointed out, it was Biden who used the term 'clean' .. hardly a conservative though he may be a racist nut bag.. I don't know.

On topic: Hillary called Biden 'flawless' during the debate. I don't think Biden was flawless at all (in fact, made one pretty glaring and obvious mis-statement that changed the context of an entire message .. but I think most folks got it anyway since I haven't heard a word about it).

Maybe Himself is right and I'm too detailed oriented. I need to learn to go with the flow and quit being so nit-picky. [8|]

Senator Clinton was being polite rather than negative.  That is all.
