Status: offline 		If she had been snotty, it would be more of an incentive to people to support Palin. But damning her with faint praise, composed and effective despite just being thrust on the national stage is a pretty good jab. Basically her comment says that she was surprised that someone with so little political experience handled herself at all well.

(Loved Olberman's "Countdown" post debate edition the other night... with all the game show buzzes every time Palin lied or got her facts wrong. I'm sure it's online by now. That, and the "condensed" debate with all her "folksy sayin's" strung together... hailarious!)

I can hardly wait for SNL tonight...

Not that it matters in the least. Unless something really, really nasty happens between now and November, Obama's in. I look forward to Palin's book: "Being There II: or There and Back Again, a Hockey Mom's Holiday." Wherein she recounts how she had more than her 15 minutes of fame.

It goes right back to the top of the ticket, and not even Governor Palin can save John McCain from himself. Give me the John McCain from 2000 not pandering to the base, he wouldn't get the Republican right wing vote but he might actually win.

Status: offline 		While I have never particuarly liked  Hillary, she has earned my respect both in the political arena and in her personal life.   I do not like or respect Palin. 

The most succinct statement comparing Hillary and Palin that I have heard:  "Palin is not worthy to even carry Hillary's jock strap."

Hillary has earned her right to be respected.  Hillary may never "forgive" Obama for beating her, but she will work hard to defeat McCain.

Hmm.. what odds would you give to someone who: is out, inhaled, swallows, wears leather when not naked, calls someone Master, has ethics and brains, has read the Constitution at least three times a year for the last 25 years, has only ever held office in a kink org, is divorced, does research and thinks that the word 'liar' is a synonym for the word 'politician'?

Somehow I'm thinking even 'dog catcher' might be out of my league.

Status: offline 		Hillary doesn't want Obama in office, she wants to be president in 2012, and won't get the nod to do so if there is another Democrat in the white house.  Why do you think Obama did not choose her for a running mate?
