Status: offline 		I have recently explored more non bondage, in my D/s sessions.

I do adore restraining, and using all my straps, bodybags, and bondage equipment, mummification, sensory dep etc.

Recently, I have really enjoyed the non restrictive approach, utilising slave positions in my sessions.

This really does send me away with the fairies, headspace heaven!

When a sub is exposed and I command a :display, present or stand to attention slave position, them knowing that a boot, nail or implement will connect, and to stay in positon as I instruct , is such a headrush for me.

A powerful form of submission, focus and abiding by instruction, commands, however tough the going gets lol

Status: offline 		It certainly influences the experience for both parties.  My Lady has twice given pretty hard paddlings with me splayed across Her lap - no bondage other than Her desire and words encouraging me on.  It was very head trippy for me as well because your natural impulse is to get away from the pain.  If I was bound, then I could not get away and frankly, I have sunk deeper into the sensation of the pain when bound up...but not being bound added a new dimension for me - pride and love.  I -was not- going to move no matter how intense it got.  I found myself raising my bottom to Her between strokes to show that I loved Her, wanted to be there, wanted Her to be proud of me for enduring for Her.  Brought me to tears.  Very profound, marvelously intense.

I would not call this predicament bondage, or at least I have never heard this type of play called that before. Predicament bondage is usually when you place a sub in bondage in such a way that in order to comply with a command it will cause them more pain....not just about keeping still and taking it. An example would be clamps on nipples with taught lines attached from the clamps to to the toes. Then the sub is told to reach up high to get or grab something and in order to do so it will make those lines pull tighter. What is being described here is more what I would consider to be mental bondage.

I thought that too mistoferin, as in already bound in a predicament, in a way that conjours pre-meditated thoughts of what is to come.

Mental bondage, is a precise description of the dynamic of non bondage, I am expressing :).

Status: offline 		I don't much go for mental bondage. I find that if I have to stay in a thinking zone, focusing on where my feet are, if my arms are moving, then I can't take very much at all. And also it's much harder for me to get aroused. Since play for us is sexual, being without arousal sort of defeats the purpose.

Lol John, mental bondage is how I should have expressed initially.

I suppose it does sound like a prediction :)

I am meaning the element of sub being in a position non-restrained, yet utilising their submission/focus by enduring acts or situations/activities without any physical restraints.

I had another person mention "honor bondage" too,  so quite interesting all the different styles of non-restraint play
