So turn your lemons into lemonade! You live in a WONDERFUL country and many people fantasize about living there. Your pool of potential matches is not just in the UK, it is the world! It can be a difficult path to find someone and pursue a good match via distance, but it can work AND be wonderful. Let the fact that you are in Ireland work for you, not against you. Who knows, you may still find the right person right there...but don't limit yourself just because it is hard... Hope that helps! [:)]

[:)] So you're saying I should expand my search to people from other nations who would be willing to relocate. Interesting suggestion! I've not really tried it becaue it doesn't seem too realistic to me that someone would hop on a plane and get over here just to meet a stranger. But under the right circumstances, it could work.

And the Absolute Sweetest Icing on the cake would be if that particular Dom were in Northern Ireland!! The world isn’t really all THAT big a place any more. I always leave pictures on with no other prerequisites (it's like russian roulette). It's interesting when you slip over some random person from Bucharest, Tel Aviv, Kiev, Macedonia, etc. they're usually real gems, too. but even within the states, out situations are somewhat similar. if I find someone I take a liking to that's in South Dakota or New York, I'm in an equally bad position as you are if you find someone that happens to be situated in Lyon...
