-=Mainstream Movies=- Marquis de Sade's Justine (1968) [Uncut] aka: Deadly Sanctuary, Justine, Justine and Juliet, Justine ovvero le disavventure della virtù SYNOPSIS - Romina Power (18-year-old-daughter of Tyrone Power) stars as Justine, a young woman cast out of a French orphanage and thrust into a depraved world. It's a twisted tale of the ultimate corruption of innocence as told by the Marquis de Sade. Eugenie ... The Story of Her Journey Into Perversion (1969) SYNOPSIS - Maria Rohm stars as Mme. de St. Ange, who reads the Marquis' book and fantasizes about its excessive content. St. Ange has sex with a man named Mistival (Paul Muller) in exchange for permission to take his lovely daughter Eugenie (Marie Liljedahl) to her vacation island. When they arrive, St. Ange and her lover Mirvel (Jack Taylor) seduce Eugenie into joining their bizarre sexual role-playing. A party follows, during which Eugenie is drugged and forced to submit to sadomasochistic games directed by Dolmance (Christopher Lee) and his oddly-dressed followers. When she awakens from her stupor, however, Eugenie finds that the games have turned to murder. Nino Korda and Herbert Fuchs co-star in this provocative exploitation film. Salo: 120 Days of Sodom (1975) REVIEW - The Marquis de Sade's The 120 Days of Sodom served as the basis for the Pier Paolo Pasolini film. The film is disturbing, reprehensible, and morally bankrupt as The 120 Days of Sodom. Like Sade's infamous novel Pasolini's film is a nihilistically bleak look into the heart of man. Be prepared for one of the roughest films you'll ever see. The final work of notorious Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini, this film updates the Marquis de Sade's most extreme novel to fascist Italy in the final days of WW II. Last Tango in Paris (1972) [Uncut] aka: Ultimo tango a Parigi SYNOPSIS - Paul a middle-aged American in "emotional exile" who comes to Paris when his estranged wife commits suicide. Chancing to meet young Frenchwoman Jeanne (Maria Schneider), Paul enters into a sadomasochistic, carnal relationship with her, indirectly attacking the hypocrisy all around him through his raw, outrageous sexual behavior. Paul also hopes to purge himself of his own feelings of guilt, brilliantly (and profanely) articulated in a largely ad-libbed monologue at his wife's coffin. The film caused a deep scandal in Italy for an anal sex scene featuring the use of butter. Once seen, the infamous "butter scene" is never forgotten. Blind Beast (1969) aka: "Mojuu", "Moju", "Warehouse" SYNOPSIS - The disturbing story of a blind sculptor obsessed with the female form. He kidnaps a model and holding her captive in his studio, she suffers at the hands of the artist. Giving in to find an avenue of escape, she becomes caught up in a series of sadomasochistic games. After she loses her sight and her mind, the sexual games become even rougher. Whips are replaced with knives, which give way to meat cleavers, as the demented girl begs to have her arms and legs cut off. -=Not So Mainstream Movies=- Flower & Snake (2005) Director: Takashi Ishii Genre: Drama SubTitles: English Dubbed: Japanese Run Time: 115 Minutes SYNOPSIS - Mr. Ippei Tashiro, a 95 year old man knwn as the "Showa Prince of Darkness," who arranges for a gang leader to kidnap and confine Shizuko for his pleasure. REVIEW - An opulent example of Japanese S&M sexploitation at its most politically incorrect, this story of a woman’s abduction and sexual slavery is the Danger After Dark film most likely to appall. If you know the world of Japanese sado-masochistic sexploitation films, you’ve already bought your ticket.
