Okay my darlings...

It's a fabulous Sunday Morning!  Share something of Joy from your universe.  Pretty please with sugar and a cherry (mmm... cherries) on top?

It IS a beautiful morning! The Waether is such that I could sleep with the window open last night, and was awakened by the sounds of the woods that surround my home. My wife and I are probably going to take a walk in one of the nearby parks early this afternooon, and will most likely take in a movie later... (We're thinking "Igor") I'm taking along a CD or two of "The Decemberists" just to help keep the mood playful.

I was able to do a system restore on my computer and get rid of a nasty virus before it did major damage.

Beautiful here today, sunny, low 70's, perfect day for raking up tree limbs that remained on the ground from the Ike windstorm last week.

Fall is in the air, yaaaay, just chillly enough with lots of sun.
Kids are precious, even as adults, helping my daughter  getting ready for a date..... having a mom/daughter fun time, my 19 year old son told me he loved me, without having to twist his arm, and he didnt want something.
My furbaby has just discovered the fun of the frisbee, and Im exhausted having chased her around the garden.
Life is simple and good
Happy Sunday

Up at crack of dawn. Patient list in hand and out to tend and care for a few who cannot do for themselves. Sun is up and life is good.

What a great topic[:)]

Waking up in bed next to "the One" and feeling his arms around me - that is joy.

I am joyful autumn is here.  I love the change in light on the mountain, and cooler days.

Riding to breakfast on the back of His Softail. Getting to spend time with a good friend going through chemo. Slow dancing to jazz singers on the radio in the middle of the Harley dealership. Being His.

I am making progress on my house.

Yay!   I want it in shape enough that it can be mortgaged.   With stuff ripped up- that would get in the way - if I sold it.  I managed to put up a wall in the sun room. I am slowly figuring out the window on the porch.   I broke out the paint and painted.   There is ALWAYS painting that can be done. I am using bright white.  That is the color of choice in most rooms.  Tho a ocean blue is my choice for some  of the north wall.  [this is a feng shui thing]

I spliced  trim from a disposed of window to a damaged existing window in the white room.

So   1. I have the energy, lcak of pain or sickness to do things.

2. I can figure out what neeeds done to proceed.

I tend to have many fires going at the same time- which summer 2008 worked AGAINST me.

I also found the email to the urban planning firm - that is redoing our riverfront.  Im asking for no park bench  in front of my place- and good  landscape.   As well as the speed limit reducced to 20 miles per hour, and made into a one way street.
There is a public meeting for the project on Tuesday.  Many here are furious over the riverfront project.  It would take down 100 feet of the flood wall to enhance and then site an ampitheator.    So mobs of people will go and get voval over it.  I  am not too concerned with the hole in the wall.
Supposedldy the quality of life will be enhanced by this urban planing project....

I am alive and a decent day.

HUGS

Just sold a condo friday.
Going to the lawyer's office tommorrow to pick up my check in my new Lincoln MKS! Fuck Wall Street!
And, this is the best time of the year here, most of the summer tourists are gone, in the 70's with "Carolina Blue" skies, no heating or a/c needed.
Perfect weather for golf!

sunshinemiss -> RE: Joy on a beautiful Sunday Morning.... (9/21/2008 3:37:48 PM)

Went for a walk today... Followed my nose...

First the smell of burning wood in a place where noone has central heat... then all of a sudden, a BAKERY! oooo then the clean musky smell of good dirt...

and then I took some photos.  Agood day indeed.  Happy spring everybody!

Whilst you will all be working on Monday I will not be, how great is that?

slaveluci -> RE: Joy on a beautiful Sunday Morning.... (9/21/2008 4:07:27 PM)

Master and I have just had 3 wonderful days off together which we spent in a cabin on beautiful Lake Catherine.  Three days of solitude, fresh air, cooking steaks and shrimp on the grill, cold beer, rest and peace.  Beautiful weather, beautiful lake and a lovely two mile hike through the woods to a waterfall.  Unabashed bliss with the One I adore and who adores me.  What could be better?
