Considering the egregious mistakes made by the police, I would have had to vote not guilty at his murder trial. Not that I don't think he did it, but the way they fucked up the evidence prevented the prosecution from probing it. This one, yeah I could examine the evidence objectively. An old family friend is a judge here in NY State. Some years ago he had to dismiss a trial where it was obvious the guys were guilty simply because the police went out of their way to make sure none of the evidence was usable. No documentation about the evidence, the arresting officers didn't show up - they sent the sergeant at the station instead, to a point where it seems obvious that there must have been a crooked cop or two. You can't vote on your feelings, but instead on the evidence as the law tells you to consider it.
