I've eliminated the dollar too! Well...not exactly..the dollar has been "involuntarily" eliminated from my bank account .......paying for gas and food! Getting rough out there...

Nah. Countries are just dividing up into trading blocks for self defence and strength when negotiating international trading deals. EU, ASEAN, NAFTA, Organization of African Unity and now Mercosur. Sooner or later ASEAN and NAFTA will decide they need their own single currencies. Its just the way the world is going for better or worse.
