i try to watch the tv for a little entertainment now & then, but sometimes politics and current events creep into all kinds of shows & concerts. humm? that sucks! but yeah, i am more interested in the politicians voting record, rather than rumors, lies & fables. i think we should all prefer the truth with no spin!

Letterman's problem is that he hasn't been "funny" in years now! Leno beats him every single time in "funniness" votes. If you're going to call yourself a "comedian" I would think that it would be neccessary to actually be "funny."

Bestbaby, 1. You're right. It is impossible to avoid bias on news shows. But why anyone would pick the network that always produces the most misinformed viewers baffles me. You can't trust voting records because, as citizens, we don't often have the time to understand them fully. In 2004, for example, Bush bashed Kerry for voting against a military spending bill. And, he was right, Kerry did vote against the bill. But only because Kerry preferred a bill that gave more money to the military. In fact, Dick Cheney was pushing a bill at the same time that gave less money to the military. But all we heard about through our news media was that Kerry voted against funding the military. Very few people did the research to find out the truth.
