I just found out about the death of a very dear friend of mine. If you're of the ilk, please keep him and his family in your prayers as we grieve.

Keep faith that things will be okay. I'm sorry for your loss.

I had a loss in April. It was my very best friend. It took me awhile to get to a point where I could talk about her without crying. Grieving for me is such a hard thing. I isolate and just stay away from things. But I am getting better. One way I deal with it is to journal and listen to music. It allowed me to cry and realize I missed her deeply, but that she is in a better place.
Sorry for your loss.
