Pretty captivating piece, and not really "political" in the normal sense:

Searching for Palin's 'Hot Photos'

On the Richter scale of Internet search energy, Republican presidential candidate John McCain's announcement on Friday that he had chosen Sarah Palin, the current governor of Alaska, as his running mate measured a magnitude 10. If you compare the number of searches for "John McCain," "Barack Obama" or "Joe Biden" with those for "Sarah Palin," there's no contest. In just two days, the number of U.S. Internet searches for "Sarah Palin" reached a peak greater than any other political personality in the past three years. In the week ending Aug. 30, 2008, searches for Governor Palin were almost four times as popular as Obama searches, eight times as popular as McCain searches and over 10 times more popular than searches for Biden.

So, what exactly are Palin searchers seeking?

Answering that question is the rest of the article, and it's quite ... interesting ...

I'm sure she has had more hits than anyone else because no one has heard of her and if McCain wins and croaks in office, she will have her finger on the button. All of which had my friends freak and cheack her out on the computer when I told them Palin was a creationist and all the prophetic biblical baggage that goes with that piece of news.  'Oh My God, the end of the world is neigh!' commented one, thinking of the Book of Revelations "All we need is someone's finger on the nuclear button that believes in that shite!'

Gosh, please tell your friends to chill.  There are other question on Sarah that each of us has to answer in our consideration of the lady..experience, (Isn't there someone else running on a major party ticket with even less),
can Sarah be a mom and VP seems to concern some people, she has not had the foreign policy trips that Obama
has who has done twice as many as Saray, one recently to Iraq and Germany, and one during his junior year
in college to Pakistan. Ok.so I have to decide if twice as many trips is gonna swing my vote. Both parties have serious issues, all kidding aside, that each of us has to weigh.
Sarah is one heart beat away from the Oval office and that big button.  Hopefully it doesn't have EASY printed
on it as the button Staples sells.
Oh..and think about who would be responsible for that button if "worst case" McCain and Palin should go down
together.  Now that gives ME the chills.

Christians believe that the end of the world and the raising of souls to heaven will be decided by God.  On the other hand, Muslims believe that they can bring about the return of the missing Imam by their actions here on earth..The nut case president of Iran truly believes that martydom could bring this about.  Now that is something to fear.

She does kinda have that "hot for teacher" vibe.  Or, like when a stripper dresses up like a nerdy girl....but once she throws off the glasses, a good time will be had by all....
Maybe sort of a bukkake girl look "gooey glasses"...[;)]i can't quite put my finger on it................
