I have heard the Democrat side (OBAMA 08) and I have heard the Republican Side (George Bush's Clone) and both of them have said they intend to deliver real change to our country. But Truth and Lies abound.

One of my favorite quotes is from the X files "The Truth is out there Muldar, and so are many lies"

I honestly plan to vote for mr. Obama but do I trust him to actually honestly bring real change to this country. NO!

Do I think That GW Bush's Clone is gonna bring real change?? NO!

Do I think both of them will say anything to get elected?? YES!

Change is constant thus you don't have to bring it about.

Name anything that stays the same?

I'd be surprised if anyone could deliver lack of change. i.e. when the world is peaceful and wonderful why do we change it and not instead seek more of the same?

Democratic "change"... supporting the middle class again....

Republican "change": what you ask for, from strangers, after your house is foreclosed on and you've lost your job.

The change I would like to see from the Dems is a respect for the flag and the lives that have been given for it and this country.  To toss those flags in the garbage is very symbolic to me of just what they think of them.

So your extrapolating how the Democratic Party feels about the flag ,and the men that have died defending ,from some snafu at the DNC...Brilliant absolutely brilliant.....

This is not "some snafu"--the Democratic leadership who organized the convention never thought to make proper arrangements for the flags used at the convention.

The outrage is not that they thought to make some snarky political comment.  The outrage is that they did not think at all.  The American flag--a symbol of the country they wish to lead--was tossed in the rubbish like yesterday's newspaper; tossed without a thought, without a care, and without even necessity.

Remember, the folks who vote in this election are not ephemeral "citizens of the world."  They are citizens of the United States, "the Republic for which it stands."

The DNC, which took EXTRAORDINARY measures to make sure this was the "greenest" convention, down to nit picking the composition of the paper plates & cups, overlooked the flag of our nation, tossed them in a pile on the floor like feminists at a bra burning (I wonder how much carbon that produced, hmm?)  and you claim it was just a minor snafu?

I believe you, really.

Its not easy to change things. I learned last night that the Republicans have conducted 90 filibusters since the DEMs took control of Congress.

So that's why Pelosi sent Congress on a 5-week vacation instead of debating solutions to the immediate energy crisis?

Damn those Republicans for scaring the Dems clear out of Washington......
