You do realize this is a couple of years old?

This became public law in 2006, and the predictions made in the video have not happened.

Oh one more quickie.... Obama and Biden voted for this bill.

i have to call bullshit on this one...they say "The Bush Regime" instituted this thing. Obvious problem being...Jan '09, no Bush.

I wasn't referring to the voice vote... I was talking about votes in committees and on the floor... Those can be found at the library of congress website and by using the Thomas tool there.

Does it matter who instigated this ?

The question is do you like it and if not, what can you do about it, or are you all so trusting of your leaders that their word is the last word and they know better than you ?

Just to think about it, your government can quite happily give you permission to go on holiday, or visit family abroad, only to not let you back in, a good way I suppose of weeding out what the flavour of the month decides is an undesireable. I cannot help but think recent immigrants might be a target for this draconian law.

The news article drawing parallels with Nazism, yes, that comes to mind.
