Hello all
I've been lurking around on this website for more than a year now and have met some wonderful people, so I figure it's about time I introduced myself on the message boards.
I am a 27 year old submissive, from New Zealand.
That seems like a pretty simple sentence to write, b ut it has taken me a very long time to be able to do so in an honest, confident and accepting way. I am a strong, independent woman who does not like to take crap from anybody, so it has been extremely difficult for me to accept a side of myself that seems completely at odds with that. Things are changing though, through talking to real people with real lives who participate in the BDSM world, I have grown to accept a side of myself that now feels so natural and incredibly right. It has been part of me for as long as I can remember and now I feel I can nurture it rather than hide it.
A relationship with a wonderful man I met on this site about a year ago has helped me cement this. Sadly that relationship is now over in one sense, but we remain good friends and I feel he knows me more than anyone because he knows, and accepts, all aspects of me. If you read this EruditeMaster, thank you. We have been through a lot - some of it not exactly fun - and I feel I have come out the other side a stronger person with, I hope, a lifelong friend. We have had our moments (and I am sure we will continue to!) but I don't regret a second of it, and I hope the future brings you everything you desire.
In light of this, I am not looking for a relationship, and probably wont be for quite some time, but I would like to talk to people in the lifestyle - whatever your proclivities and wherever you are from - learn more about you, and in the process hopefully myself.
