I was merrily reading along then I read "the war saved our country"....Let's see, WWI, WWII, American Revolution, might even take the Civil War but, The Iraq was saved our country?Because Iraq was sure to invade us? It was the WMDs right? the strong ties between Saddam and Bin Laden? Exactly on what is your obviously considered opinion(although lightly considered and perhaps only by you) did the Iraq warsave our country?I know, we an excess of young men doing nothing, so let's send them to war? We had too much money here let's spend our country into the largest deficit of all times? We needed to try out our new technology on someone? Please old wise one do share? I will be anxiously awaiting your deep and well thought out reply.

Get over yourself popeye, US aid is mainly spent in America on subsidizing US farmers and researchers or is given with strings attached that means aid countries have to spend the money on US products and services.
