The temperature in my area isn't forcasted to rise above the lower 80's for the next 10 days. As late in the summer as it is, the 90's and 100's may be over. Who else is enjoying these below average temps?

We're actually warm today and for the next few days, but all of August was cooler than normal for us.  I have noticed that trees are already turning...trees that didn't turn until mid October last year.  Squirrels are going nuts with the acorns too.  I think it's going to be a cold, long, snowy winter just based on what I'm already seeing.

It's in the low 70's here this week.  Last week we were in the 90's.  According to the farmers almanac we're all going to have a cold long winter this year...at least that's what I hear.

The signs seem to be showing us that as well.

The average number of days above 90 in Milwaukee is 9. This year it was 0. Our normal snowfall is 52". Last winter it was 110". The global warming crowd has been quiet in this part of the midwest..

It's comfortable here in Myrtle Beach, S.C. with temps in the lower 80's.
I remember Aug 6th with the outside temp at 104.
I was in the cee-ment pond that day for sure.
Nice "Carolina Blue" skies today with nary a cloud in sight.
However, they say that "Hanna" is going to hit us on friday!
Hopefully it will be a "T.S." and not at hurricane force.

Apparently you do not understand Global Climate Change.

If Hanna does become a hurricane and not a tropical storm, do you plan to evacuate?

I do understand global climate change. I also believe that it changes naturally and is not 'man made'. 10 years ago some of these same global warming nuts were saying that the planet was cooling. They are being exposed, little by little..

Our lows for the past week have been in the 30's.  This past weekend it snowed about 2 inches west of Calgary.  That is considerably farther south than we are, but a higher elevation.

I love the cool weather and I am excited about it getting even colder.

Nope, I'll stay here, if it increases to cat 1 that shouldn't be too bad.
