Perhaps I need another lesson in U.S. history, but I don't think anyone from the same party has ever challenged a sitting president. Meaning, if Obama wins this, he's in there for 8 years. Just as if Hillary won this election, she'd be a two-term president as well, if she chose to. The only way I see Hillary running in 2012 is if Obama loses this election or if Obama chooses not to be a 2-term president. The main reason why Hillary lost this election was because she had poor campaign managers, whereas Obama had David Plouffe. The Chicago Tribune writes, "Plouffe was the mastermind behind a winning strategy that looked well past Super Tuesday's contests on Feb. 5 and placed value on large and small states." Whereas Hillary's campaign manager was quoted saying essentially that if Hillary won California on Super Tuesday, she'd have enough delegates. Although, any high school senior should remember from their U.S. Government class that only the republicans employ the "winner-take-all" strategy in primaries, (reason why McCain secured his nomination so early on), and that the DNC utilizes proportional representation. Hillary's campaign manager was her own undoing, in my opinion for the 2008 bid for President. I mean, even Michael Whouley worked on Hillary's campaign, but he had the foresight to see where things were going and jumped ship. Haha.
