He kind of did have a gun pointed to his head, as did Hillary. She is 12 million in debt after her run for the nomination. The DNC and Obama will now pay it off . With no support they would be stuck with it..Thats a lot of money even for the Clintons...

Okay, whatever story you want to believe. Have a party with it. sheesh!

I didn't see his speech last night. Did he wag his finger at the camera and deny anything?

Bill has made a career out of saying anything and nothing at the same time and carrying it with personal charisma.  If I was looking for an actor, I would look for a man with his skill and natural abilities.  To be surprised that he gave a good speech is insane.  Surprise at any real substance in anything he says would be having learned from experience.

Yes, he did waive his finger a number of times, ala ' I did not have sex with that woman'.

Wouldn't that money be better served paying some of the national debt off or something useful?   She created the debt, isn't her campaign responsible?  If that's an example of how she'd handle the national budget - she so deserved not to be nominated.

If you saw Hillary's face each time they showed her during his speech, the woman was glowing. What she see's in him I have no idea but it's obvious they've got something gluing them together.

It's called Money~[sm=2cents.gif] IMO

I think the best part of the speech was when Bill Clinton was referring to Obama and stated not simply that he is the best man to be president, but that he is the best man to "Swear to uphold and defend the Constitution."

A fittingly subtle dig at our "imperial" President who wouldn't understand subtlety if it hit him on the head.

Bill Clinton didn't mean a word of that speech last night. He is pissed that Hillary didn't get that nomination. You could see it in his eyes.

I sensed that he was dead proud of his wife and absolutely besotted with her. Not much more, but then again, I'm not a mind reader, nor am I an eye reader [8D] .
Than God you can't read minds, heaven forbid you knew half of what runs thru mine (in particular those thoughts associated with a specific English-French married tart)
