When he is all consuming you are 'in love'
When he is totally in control of you, you are 'in love'
When he is in your head during sexual acts of dominance and you are not off on your own little trip then you are 'in love

Just because you might be in love, does not mean they are your ideal partner.
Love can be very blinding.

I am an extremely romantic person and I am well aware that submission and head space has nothing to do with love.

your right and everyone is different.
What I should of said is, when you will do anything for that dominant, like it or not then you are probably in love or too much in love!

Again allthatjazz, that is simply not the reality of it for some. There are many slaves here that will do "anything" for their Masters who have a dynamic that does not contain any element of romantic love. It's nice that you have a romantic view of all of this...but not everyone does.

As an "s" type...is it only fulfilling to you if you are allowed to drift off into your own headspace? If it gets interrupted is that frustrating for you?

Sometimes allowed, sometimes not allowed. Not being in control of the variance is the best turn on.

What headspace? To me there is no headspace, only focus. That focus is union with my dominant's headspace, not mine. I'm the submissive, the instrument of will, and my submission is at will.

I'm perhaps in a minority here but bondage and blindfolds are for me hard limits. Submission for me isn't me as an entity, it is my interaction with a dominant, and because it is interaction there are cues, signals, facial expressions, eye movements, body language and som much more that I need to be aware of and totally focussed on. That focus is total, absolute, because without this there is no energy transfer, I need to be aware and I need to be free to respond and to interact.

It is important for me to be able to respond immediately or within the right time with the right response which my dominant is seeking to elicit for their own satisfaction, for without evidence of this, I get nothing out of my submission.
