Maybe McCain should choose Hillary for Veep. Now there would be a Maverick move.

Better yet...choose Bill. there is no legal reason I could see why Bill Clinton cannot serve as Vice President. I don't believe that his ascending to the Presidency from the Vice Presidency would violate the two term limit, as he would become President not by election, but by order of ascendancy?

Anyone know?

as there has been a separation from his prior term, there would be no obstacle. he would still be limited to 8 years, (10 if the incumbent dies in office after having served more than 2 years, the remaining 2 years plus 2 elected terms are possible.) but Hillary would be more likely to get him elected at this point.
