If a 'dom' is a male dominant, then would 'sub' be only a male submissive? No? Do only those that are dominant get the distinction? I, for one, hope 'subbe' is never brought into use, and I will not use the term 'domme'. It's not French, and, as stated, 'dom' is already gender neutral.
