I find I basically put about as much effort in my reply as the writer initially puts into their message, if I feel we're going to somehow click as something more than online passers-by... But that's being fair, I suppose. I find the emails that get the most attention from me are the ones where the writer asks questions... That's mainly because it tells me the writer is thinking, and somehow their interest is piqued... which is a good thing on both counts...[:)] As far as the length of my replies in general.... Almost all the posters in this thread are women... you get unsolicited PMs MUCH more than us men do. I received one PM on Literotica that developed into an online relationship, and one or two PMs here. Not too many. On alt.com, I kept getting unsolicted emails and winks/adds to hotlists (contacts that were free to the initiators) from women in Africa who had gone there with their boyfriend/husband/Master/parents who then died there and left them stranded.
