That is really weird, that they would want to celebrate something earthly, as physical beauty. I thought nuns read the bible and such. Those things would seperate you from God, not bring you nearer.

Anyway, just proves most religious people are just there for the club.

I'm agnostic, and there is no doubt idolizing physical beauty is a bad characteristic. Coveting comes to mind. Flaunting, (purposely bringing attention), to beauty, is also a prideful act.

I guess Nuns have removed the ability to feel such things, and this isn't the same as whoring down the run way.

LOL. I have no real problem with beauty contests I just hate hypocrites, that profess to give all to god, and then select members from their flock based on physical characteristics, to be flaunted on the world stage. Presumably to try to put out a more hip image, as I read before the nun's are a dying breed.

So, pervert the philosophy to get people to follow the philosophy. LOL. Sounds like government.

God is dead. He's been replaced by publicist.
